786 Cosmetics Review!

Hello everyone and welcome back to my blog!

Today I have very exciting news! Few months ago I teamed up with 786 Cosmetics to create 3 beautiful and easy freehand nail art designs for summer (see here). That went very well which is why they offered me to be their guest blogger! I really liked the idea considering what kind of brand they are. Now, a few months later, they sent me their nail polish collection for review. This is the first time I tried their products and I can’t wait to share my impressions with you! Buckle up, this is going to be a long ride! We have an entire collection to talk about and share swatches! But first of all, let me introduce you to this brand! 🙂

786 Cosmetics is brand that produces vegan, cruelty free, breathable and halal nail polishes. I’ve been doing nail polish reviews for quiet some time now, but I never came across “halal products”. Therefore, I decided to find out what does “halal” stands for. And here is the answer: according to 786 Cosmetics, halal labeled products are free from any component that Muslims are prohibited from consuming according to Islamic law (Shariah). Processed, made, produced, manufactured and/or stored using utensils, equipment and/or machinery that have been cleansed according to Islamic law. This means that none of their products contain ingredients such as alcohol or any other ingredients derived from animals. 786 Cosmetics nail polishes are certified vegan and cruelty-free by PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals). Their nail polishes contain no animal products or byproducts and they are not tested on animals. Knowing this information helps a lot, since many costumers want to know the exact product ingredients and are not willing to support companies that test on animals. Besides that, 786 Cosmetics polishes are safe to use for all Muslim women around the world, which is great and not the case with other brands.

Beside being vegan, cruelty free and halal, 786 Cosmetics nail polishes are also breathable. In case you didn’t know, breathable nail polishes are designed to allow molecules of water—and their good buddy oxygen—to slip through the polish and down to the nail, thereby supposedly improving the health of your nail and nail bed (more information here). Again, this is very important for all Muslims because it doesn’t breaks their Islamic laws of not wearing nail polish while praying.

Collecting all this information makes us conclude that 786 Cosmetics does great work. They are famous for making natural, healthy formulas for everyone. If you are interested to find out more, I encourage you to visit

My first pr package from 786 Cosmetics contains 7 nail polishes. I really loved the shades and how they are suitable for autumn. Today I’ll show swatches of 3 metallic and 4 matte shades. But, before we dive into that, I’d like to take a second and discuss the packaging.

Each one of these polishes comes in a beautifully designed unicarton with all information provided. On the side there is a “window” where you can actually see the shade.

They have thin, precise brush, which allows you to paint your nails in only 3 strokes. On the back of the nail polish bottle you can read the ingredients.

As for the formula, I’d say say that it’s pretty consistent. Majority of nail polishes I tried were great, opaque, easy to apply, fast drying and long-lasting. There is only 1 shade that wasn’t as good as I would like it to be, but there is nothing that 3 coats can’t fix.

Now, without further a due, I think it’s time to show you the swatches! 🙂

We will start with my favorite of all – golden metallic shade named Dubai.

P.S. I also loved the shade names! They symbolize the most important notions in Muslim world.

Dubai is a beautiful golden metallic shade with a dash of shimmer to it. It’s very unique, extremely opaque and quick drying. Here are the swatches:

What’s gold without silver, right? We also have a stunning silver metallic color named Brunei. It’s also very opaque, shimmery and fast drying.

Third metallic shade is the dark green one called Karachi. This shade has beautiful emerald shine and it’s perfect for fall and winter manicures!

We are moving now to matte shades. The first one is called Agra. This is classic, vibrant red nail polish, very feminine and beautiful. In my opinion, every woman should own this shade. It suits all skin tones and it never goes out of style. The formula is also great, opaque and quick drying.

We also have a darker version of red – Istanbul. Gorgeous burgundy shade is great choice for autumn and winter! On camera it seems little brownish, but in real life is more leaning to red. Again, very opaque, long-lasting and quick drying formula!

I almost never wear dark blue nail polishes, but this one i definitely will! I’m presenting you Samarkand, wonderful dark blue color! Amazing formula, opacity and durability.

Abu Dhabi

Lastly, we have Abu Dhabi. This is a classic milky white shade and the only one that I needed to paint in 3 coats. The formula is a little bit on the sheer side, which is why you will probably need an extra coat. However, white shades are very hard to make. They usually take 3 coats to get nice and even. That’s why I don’t mind this one. It looks beautiful on nails, anyway! 🙂

The 786 Cosmetics nail polishes retail for 12.95$ and you can buy them via their website with free shipping for the United States, Canada, Europe, and Australia. You can also purchase bundles or sets and save some money. The brand offers you nail care products, too, so make sure to check them out!

This concludes today’s review. I really hope that you enjoyed it! If so, please let me know! Tell me which color you would like to try! Thanks 786 Cosmetics for introducing me to their lovely products! Now I have the opportunity to share my experience with you and present you these amazing products!
