Hello everyone and welcome back to my blog!
In today’s post I’ll be showing you how to recreate this adorable and super easy negative space manicure!
If you don’t already know, negative space is a nail art technique that includes “negative” aka free, unpainted spaces on your nails. There is no specific rule on what kind of shapes you have to leave empty, which allows you to be creative! Today I decided to create a negative space design in which I’ll leave empty spaces around my cuticles.
Always start by applying base coat. Base coat is the only layer of product that is allowed on negative spaces. Next take your thin nail art brush, or even a regular nail polish brush, and paint 3/4 of your nails. Make sure to leave enough space around cuticles. Since this is a kind of abstract nail art, you don’t have to worry about straight lines. Once your nails are completely dry, take your gold nail polish and add a splash of color around the borders. Finish by applying glossy top coat.
I really hope you liked my design! If so, please let me know down in comments! Make sure to follow my blog, Instagram and YouTube channel for more interesting and fun, easy nail art designs and reviews! I’ll be back very soon with another post! Thanks for reading!
